Creo que como emprendedores nos enfrentamos a muchísimos retos a la hora de emprender que van desde la parte emocional hasta la parte económica.
Todos necesitamos de un capital para invertir para poner a andar el negocio, o si nos encontramos en la etapa de en donde ya tenemos andando el negocio, puede que queramos hacer cambios o mejoras que necesitan de dinero que en la mayoría de las ocasiones no contemplamos en nuestro presupuesto, o sea ¡no tenemos!
Asique, quiero ir directo al grano, hoy quiero hablarte de los 5 errores que no debes cometer a la hora de solicitar un crédito o financiamiento para tu negocio.
Error #1: No conocer tu situación actual.
No saber cómo y dónde estás parado es la primera alerta roja, debes hacer un ALTO y hacer una evaluación total del negocio. Debes tener identificando los siguientes puntos:
- El punto del ciclo de vida del negocio se encuentra el tuyo.
- ¿Cuál es la necesidad financiera con la que te enfrenta?
- ¿Para qué realmente necesitas los recursos?
- ¿Cuánto dinero exactamente necesitas?
Error #2: Endeudarte más de lo que necesitas.
Con respecto al error uno el no conocer tu situación actual, te puede venir grandes dolores de cabeza y estrés, por no conocer cuál es la capacidad de financiamiento de tu negocio. En otras palabras ¿Sé hasta cuánto puedo pagar en una letra mensual? Sea cual sea tu necesidad de dinero, te recomendaría que pedir prestado la menor cantidad posible, o que esta no sobrepase al 30% de tus utilidades operativas.

Utilidad operativa = utilidad bruta – gastos operativos.
En otras palabras, es la ganancia, dinero que nos queda después de haber contemplado los costos de venta o producción y los gastos operativos que vienen siendo nuestros costos fijos y variables.
- Fórmula para obtener la utilidad bruta:
Utilidad bruta = ventas netas – costos de ventas o costos de producción.
Error #3: Ver solo una opción.
Hay muchas opciones y maneras de cómo financiar tu emprendimiento. A continuación, algunos ejemplos y mis comentarios de cada uno de ellos:
- Préstamos empresariales.
Si ya estás al nivel de solicitar un préstamo empresarial, no te conformes con una propuesta, cotiza en varios bancos, estúdialas y analiza cuál se responde a tus necesidades.
- Préstamos personales.
Esta puede ser una buena opción, siempre y cuando tengas la regla de que el pago del préstamo saldrá del negocio y no de tus ingresos personales. Esta opción no te serviría si necesitas un gran monto de dinero y que piensas pagarlo poco a poco.
- Financiamiento propio.
Este se trata de los ahorros a lo largo de la vida o para un fin específico, al iniciar un negocio siempre es recomendable que utilicemos nuestro capital propio, ya que no estamos obligados a pagar intereses ni a tener que devolver el dinero, al menos que hayas creado un plan de pago dentro los gastos fijos para que la empresa te page mes a mes el dinero de vuelta.
Error #4. No prestarle atención al plazo o término del crédito.
