Esta semana seré ser bien puntual y sin rodeos, hoy quiero hablarte sobre 3 consejos para administrar las ganancias de tu negocio, un tema del cual recibo muchas preguntas y dudas.
Si te ves identificado en algunos de los siguientes puntos, te animo a que trates de seguir mejorando el modo en el que administras el dinero en tu negocio.
Consejo #1. Cuentas por separado.
Debes a toda costa evitar mezclar el dinero del negocio y el que gastas para mantenerte a ti y a tu familia.
¿Por qué?
- Si mantienes el dinero bien registrado por separado, evitas confusiones y sabes el propósito de cada centavo.
- Te libras de dolores de cabeza y errores a la hora de hacer tus declaraciones de renta y pagos de impuesto, si llevas un buen registro de los ingresos y gastos del negocio, no tendrás inconveniente, y tu contador podrá hacer bien su trabajo con datos bien llevados. A veces por tener un desorden, podemos caer en tener que pagar grandes cantidades de dinero en impuestos por algún error cometido.
- Proteges tu patrimonio, ya que no comprometes deudas y gastos provenientes del negocio con tus finanzas personales.
Algunas recomendaciones
- Ten cuentas bancarias separadas, usa una(s) para el negocio y otra(s) para tus finanzas personales. Inclusive: si tienes que pagarte a ti mismo, trasfiere o deposita tu salario de una cuenta a la otra, para que todo quede registrado.
- Lo que me trae a la segunda recomendación, págate un salario, sí, así como lo oyes, tienes que pagarte a ti mismo, las ganancias que hagas con el negocio no son todas para tu uso, el negocio de por sí tiene sus propios gastos, deudas en caso que las tengas, ahorros, en fin, debe ser totalmente autosostenible. Si tu negocio aún no está en condiciones para pagarte un salario como el que quisieras, no importa págate lo que puedas, sé que al principio es mucha inversión y poco retorno, pero no te desanimes, es normal, claro siempre y cuando estés administrando todo bien y veas que cada mes vayas monitoreando tus objetivos iniciales y proyecciones.
- Edúcate lo más que puedas en finanzas. Es importante poder saber manejar nuestros números, conocer que significan y cómo podemos usarlos para nuestro beneficio.
¡Tus números, son tus mejores aliados!
- Si usarás parte de tus ahorros para financiar tu emprendimiento o algún proyecto en específico, decide la cantidad anticipadamente. Establécete un límite de dinero fijo que vas a invertir en el negocio, evalúa el riesgo y el retorno del dinero a tus cuentas personales.
Consejo #2. Dale Propósito a cada centavo.
- No importa en qué mes del año te encuentres cuando estés leyendo esto, haz tu planificación financiera anual, donde incluya tus ventas, tus costos fijos, tus costos variables, tus costos de producción, etc. Puedes descargarte una plantilla para hacer tu planificación financiera AQUÍ.
- En base a tu planificación define tus prioridades. En qué debes invertir primero.
- Definir objetivos que sean específicos, realistas, medibles, temporales (con fecha de cumplimiento).
Consejo #3. Buen uso a los fondos del negocio.
Quiero recalcar nuevamente en este punto, porque creo que nos cuesta mucho, como propietario(a) de tu negocio, puedes verte tentado a considerar todas las ganancias como si estos fuesen ingresos personales, pero no lo son, no debes verlo de esa manera, esto te podría traer otros tipos de problemas.
Por ejemplo, digamos que decides solicitar un crédito con el negocio como garantía, pero resulta que llega un momento en que no puedes pagarlo, pondrías tu negocio en riesgo, tu inversión, tu capital y tu fuente de ingresos.
Algunas recomendaciones para evitar caer en este punto:
- Al momento de considerar adquirir una nueva deuda, cotiza varias opciones de financiamiento, escoge el que más te convenga.
- Asegúrate que la mensualidad no afecte o comprometa de gran manera tu presupuesto. – El del negocio.
- No pidas más de los que necesitas, utiliza el dinero solo para los gastos del negocio, no para nada personal.
- Deja claro los propósitos de algún excedente a tus ingresos, si el negocio te arroja más dinero del que esperabas, dicho dinero debe ser para ahorrar, reinvertir, o pagar deudas más rápido. No para pagarte un salario más alto, ya tu salario debe estar pactado como para de los costos fijos mensuales.

Consejo #4. Mantén en orden tus finanzas personales.

Hola Gabriela, no es recomendable que uses tu tarjeta de crédito para cubrir lo que hace falta, porque estás creando una deuda cada vez más grande, en el tema de subir tu suelo, depende totalmente si los números te lo permiten, te recomiendo hacer un presupuesto de gastos personales, analizarlo bien y realizar ajustes si lo consideras necesario.
